Quality control of provisions takes tremendous effort, planning and execution – quality needs to be maintained over a period of time and across several processes such as ordering, packing in warehouses, transportation to ports and then onto vessels and finally during consumption on-board. Besides a dollar implication, quality impacts the health of the crew members we serve. Done wrong, it can – and often is – the deal breaker between ship supply businesses and ship managers.
Our Project Cold Chain will use tech solutions to record and monitor the ambient temperatures for sensitive provisions enroute. This project was initiated to guarantee the quality of provisions we are supplying to our clients.
